Mike Beazley
– Store Manager
Michael was promoted to Store Manager in 2010 and he brings with him over 3 years of experience as a Professional Shoe Fitter at Oh My Sole!. With that experience he brings sales experience, customer service and product knowledge. He is enthusiastic about his role and looks forward to meeting each and every customer. Outside of Oh My Sole! he is currently working towards a Bachelor in Economics with a minor in Business from the University of King’s College. He also participated on their Men’s varsity soccer team.
Paul Mäkinen
– Senior Certified Pedorthist (C)
Paul began his career as a foot specialist as a Professional Shoe Fitter at Oh My Sole! in 2003. In 2004, he began his pedorthic apprenticeship at Curwin Health & Sport and successfully achieved his Certified Pedorthic Technician (C) designation in 2005. In 2006, Paul completed his training and earned a Certified Pedorthist (C) designation. Paul has a Bachelor of Physical Education from Acadia University and a diploma in Massage Therapy from ICT Northumberland College. Paul was promoted to Senior Certified Pedorthist with The Curwin Group in 2009.

Sandra Hicks 
-Footwear Specialist
Born and raised North End resident Sandra Hicks started at Oh My Sole December 8th, 2009 and says she loves working at a place known best for it’s quality and knowledgeable staff. Sandra’s favorite brands of shoes are Mephisto for their style and quality and Dansko because in her words it’s “12 hours of pure pleasure-no swelling, no pain! Great for my feet and legs!” Sandra is equip to help you find just what you’re looking for, and not to worry, you won’t have to sacrifice style for comfort
—something she is not willing to do.
Matthew Smith
-Footwear Specialist
We added Matthew to our team of footwear specialist in August 2010. He is currently attending Saint Mary’s University studying Commerce. Matthew’s favorite brand of shoe is Dunham, he loves the comfort but is mostly impressed by the brands great company values. In what spare time he has Matthew enjoys playing hockey. Come in and let Matthew help your tired feet with the right shoes and the right fit!
Lloyd Muirhead
-Mobility Consultant
Lloyd is the newest member to our team of footwear specialists joining us in February 2011. In his free time Lloyd is very involved in the sports community coaching track & field, curling and soccer and has experience dealing with sports injuries and preventive athletic care. Having graduated from Saint Francis Xavier with a BSC in Human Kinetics Lloyd brings with him an understanding of how the human body works as a whole, pair this with his newfound knowledge of footwear and Lloyd is ready and waiting to answer all your foot related questions.
